DIVISIONAL PLAY

The goal is for Players and Teams to be competing against others as close to their skill level as possible so that they have a better chance of winning and enjoying the competition.

All Championships offer DIVISIONAL PLAY in Singles and Team Events as follows:

ADVANCED - For the most skillful who have shown the ability to win against the very best. Runouts are not a surprise; they are expected.
STANDARD - For those who are more than novice but are either new to Championship Play or have yet to move up the ladder.
OPEN - The in between. Too good for Standard but still working their way to the top.

The RANKING SYSTEM will determine the lowest Division that a Player or Team is eligible to enter.

RANKING

The Player and Team Rankings are based on the 'highest of your last 2' performances from all CCS/ACS Championships since 2005.

'Unranked' players and teams are generally permitted to play in the Standard Division.

However, based on local league stats and/or local League Operator player knowledge, the ACS/CCS reserves the right to move a Player or Team ranking up to a higher Division on ‘KA – Known Ability’..

After completing your online entry, you can confirm your eligibilty for the requested Division by selecting 'View Entries' instead of 'Entry'.
